Pork and Beef Stew

Ingredients:
3 Stalks Celery, Chopped

3 Carrots, Chopped

3 Small Onions, Chopped

3 Tablespoon Butter

2 Tablespoon Kosher Salt

1.5 lb. Beef, Cubed

1 lb. Pork, Cubed

½ liter Red Wine, Merlot

  • This was, incidentally, a first try at exporting a recipe to the blog more less directly (MacGourmet through MarsEdit, for those who are curious). It's an old recipe, and can be modded in many ways without losing its tastiness.

    As I recall, this was a stew-y modification of the Pressure Cooker Chili from Good Eats. After all, I thought, Chili is just stew, and I have this other stuff around. That is what makes a good stew, having stuff around to put in it.
